Users must manually select a result type when creating equations. This adds setup time and introduces the risk of choosing an incorrect type, especially when working with equations for different categories, such as travel costs and labor hours.
Proposed Solution:
Analyze the equation and its accompanying text to determine the appropriate result type.
Automatically select Cost for travel cost equations and Hours for labor-hour equations when the context supports those selections.
If the AI cannot determine the result type, leave the field blank and require the user to select it.
Allow users to review and override automatically selected result types.
Benefits:
